Monika, also known as Monika.chr, is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the visual novel metafictional psychological horror video game Doki Doki Literature Club!The character was created by Dan Salvato and voiced by Jillian Ashcraft. While Monika initially appears as the main tutor and supporting character of the lighthearted dating simulator Doki Doki Literature Club!

1. Monika.chr is a file that's present in the characters folder of the game directory. It's a renamed PNG image file. The image shows a fiery cracked circle on a black background and a block of black and white pixels in the center. The black and white pixels correspond to a string of binary, where black is 0 and white is 1. This binary can be converted into alphanumeric text, yielding a Base64.

Monika, a cute Japanese schoolgirl is the founder of the Doki Doki Literature Club! For some reasons, the Club President realizes she is in a game. She is a game guide, as in the majority of visual novels. Because of that she doesn’t have a romantic line. The literature fans do not have enough members (comparing to other school clubs) to compose a Literature club. In the Act 2 a protagonist joins the club, and since then it starts to be official. The Club President understands she is in a game, and vice-president is always a victim. A discussion club is also recalled in the game. Monika (the Literature club President) is a former member of it.

There are 4 main characters (except protagonist), 4 cute girls, writing different poems with a deep sense. Protagonist connects easily with the girls. However, Monika realizes in a while they are in a game and interrupts other members’ attempts to become friends with the main character. The player will think to play a typical dating simulator. Your expectations will be broken very soon though. The second Act turns to be a psychology horror containing the fourth wall breakdown feature. Suicide, depression and death will be the central topics.

Installing a DDLC mod involves adding the mod files to the original game files or replacing some of the original game files with new files. This process is standard for all mods and becomes very simple when you have a feel for it.

Locating the original files is different depending on whether you use a standalone copy of the game or the Steam version.A standalone version is easier, so we recommend this approach if you’re unsure where to install your mod.

You may​ need a program to open archive files, such as WinRAR or 7ZIP. You can download and use these for free.

or copy and paste an unmodified copy of the game on your computer.

If the mod came as an archive, extract it, open the folder and navigate to the “game” folder inside.

In a separate window, open your downloaded mod’s folder and navigate to the mod’s files (likely in their own “game” folder, with the exception of files for the characters folder).

Launch the game! You should now see that your mod is installed via the changed message at the beginning

(Optional) Rename the folder to match the name of the mod you’re installing.

Inside the folder, right click DDLC.app and choose “Show Package Contents” from the drop down menu.
Navigate to Contents > Resources > autorun > game. The autorun folder is the same as the top level folder in the Windows version of the game, where game files and character files can be found. (Instructions from here are the same as Windows.)
In a separate window, open your downloaded mod folder and navigate to the mod files (likely in their own “game” folder).

“I followed the instructions, but I’m not sure if the mod installed correctly or not. How can I double check?”

When you launch the game, it may not be clear if you’re looking at the base game or the mod you’re trying to install. The easiest way to tell is if you have finished the base game on the computer you’re playing on. Normally when you launch the game at this point, you’ll be immediately greeted with the letter you see at the end of the game. If you see this letter on a non-modded copy of the game and don’t see it on the copy where you just installed a mod, you have succeeded—if you see it on both copies, you have failed.

If you haven’t completed DDLC on the computer you’re playing on (perhaps because it’s new or you simply watched a playthrough instead of playing one), turn on the base game and click through the splash message. From that point forward, you should be taken to the title screen when you start the base game. Best ip booter free. When you launch the modded copy, do you see a new splash screen or the normal title screen? Some mods use the normal title screen, but you may see the title of the mod in the lower right corner. If you don’t see a splash screen, a mod title, and clicking New Game takes you to Sayori greeting you on the first day, your mod install has failed.

Note: There is at least one mod in existence which pretends to be the base game until you hit a certain point before revealing itself. However, even in cases like this, you should see a unique splash message at the beginning. If your mod install has failed, double check which files you copied to what location.

Did you put the mod download’s “game” folder into the game’s “game” folder instead of moving the files inside?
Did you copy files from the top level instead of the game folder, or place them in the top level of the game’s set of folders?
Keep in mind, you’re looking for a small number of .rpa files or a larger number of .rpy or .rpyc files and a mod_assets folder.
