Hi. I appreciate that this is my first post on this forum but I am desperate for help and I know there are vintage binocular experts on here.
I have acquired this pair of very old 'late 1800s' I think, and would like some information. There does not seem to be much online that goes back so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There is a magnification mark on one eyepiece which reads 0X I presume this to be 10X and the 1 has worn off.
Oh and value if possible. There is a case which once was beautiful but is now a bit poorly.

- Voigtlander serial numbers have been published for many years. However, as more and more contemporary sources are located it has become apparent that many published and on-line listings are not entirely accurate. Below is my most current information relating to Voigtlander serial number dating.
- A Voigtlander 9x20 prismatic end 800' back to original quality. Its serial number is only 3791. I've purchased in a market for old things, which takes place in my city once a month. Who sold it to me had given him a clean light but was not collimated.

Here we have a very nice pair of vintage binoculars, they probably date from the first war, the case has a bit of damage to the fastener, it has the letters ACS S, on the top, the binoculars are in very nice condition, the leather is all complete and no scuffs etc, the metal is good as are the bakelite eyepieces, they are marked 1/2 + 0 - 1/2, on one eyepiece, the view is good no double vision. AVG Anti Virus 7.0 300. Pair of World War I German military binoculars by Voigtlander, with a green cast metal body, the original leather case with printed paper label on the inner cover, impressed mark 'Voigtlander Braunschweig, Mod.08, No.15205, Dienstglas U.F.' , case 5.5'h x 6.5'w x 3'd.
